Our Rapadura sugar is an unrefined sugar that retains all of its nutrients. It has a high molasses content. This non-crystallized sugar is similar to Mascobado sugar, in taste and texture. The most significant difference is their origin: the Mascobado comes from Mauritius or the Philippines, while the Rapadura comes from South America.
