Our Kamut ® flour is made from ripe and dried khorasan wheat seeds, a very old variety of durum wheat. This long forgotten variety was reintroduced in Montana. It was then that the commercial name Kamut was given to it. This cereal is protected by a charter that obliges it to be grown only organically.
