Our parboiled long white rice is made from husked and parboiled long rice grains. Steaming is a pre-cooking step. This process gives rice its special characteristics. The grains do not stick together and they absorb less fat during cooking. This variety of rice is ideal for rice salad recipes, cold dishes, rice pilau, timpani and rice puddings.
